"Pleased to meet you! I'm Helena Aeso, and I'm currently attending Alfea College for Fairies to improve my control of my magic. I wanted to study there myself for some time, but even if I didn't, my mother would have sent me there regardless.
You see, our family is renowned for its magic scholarship, and Mom wants me to master my magic so I can continue the family tradition, so to speak. But while magic is a fascinating thing to study, it's never quite captured my heart the way learning about the different planets of the Magic Dimension and their cultures has. I'll probably have to tell her at some point, but I'd rather not think about it... And it's not like I have time for that right now either!
Together with my friends Rin and Kotone, I formed the Enigmatix Club, to investigate the strange happenings that we noticed all over Magix. It begun with the strange behavior of magical creatures, but it's become clear that that was just the tip of the iceberg."

Rin Sasaki

"Where do I even start? She's so sweet, and strong, and brave, and beauti- Ahem. What I'm trying to say is that Rin is one of the kindest and most selfless people I know. She won't hesitate to jump into danger if it means she can save someone - that's actually how we met!
She can take that selflessness too far, though. She'll neglect her own needs and rush into things. Thankfully she has gotten better about it - especially since we started dating - but sometimes I still need to tell her to take a break."

Kotone Hoshino

"Kotone is so amazing it's... frankly a little intimidating. She knows so much about magic, and has been to so many different places, while for me it hasn't been that long since I first left Magix. She speaks curtly and can get a little scary when she's got her mind made up. She will let nothing stop her, for better and for worse. However, I know that in her heart she is a good and kind person, and I'm glad to be friends with her."

Lucianna Watts

"Oh, Lucy? She is the worst. She constantly talks down to everyone, like she's too good for them. And that is if she deigns to talk to you at all. She probably thinks that because she's nobility she doesn't have to be nice to people 'below her'.
I would avoid her, but I can't. Not only because we both attend Alfea, but because not too long ago my friends and I discovered she has been abusing her powers to force magical creatures to do her bidding, and I cannot allow that."

Additional info and fun facts

• When she's nervous, Helena will start cleaning.
• Helena's magic allows her to project images from writing, and to sense the emotions someone felt while they were writing.
  • Because of the latter ability, Helena barely uses the internet, as its tidal wave of writings from different can still overwhelm her, despite her control over magic being much better than when she was young.
• Helena's mother Calliope and her aunt Ophelia grew up on Magix, but Helena's father is from the planet Lynphea.
• Helena was the first Winx OC I made, but while the others were designed when there was already a concept for a character, Helena originates from a doodle I really liked that I turned into an OC.
